Milford Food 2 Kids and Title Sponsor—The FSP Foundation hosted a Gala at Great River Golf Course.
The Gala raised funds to support the sustainability of our mission to feed local school children. And it raised awareness! Our goal for the 2019-2020 school year is to raise sponsorships for 160 children. A sponsorship of $280 covers 40 weekly deliveries of food to feed a child over the weekend when they are away from school.
Gala Sponsors from the Milford community and beyond join in the commitment that no child should go hungry, and that if we work together, we can become a solution to food insecurity.
Food insecurity among children is not unique to Milford. Title sponsor--The FSP Foundation is helping Milford Food 2 Kids share our model and inspire other communities in Connecticut who do not have resource programs or who are underserved with resources.
We thank our Auctioneer Dave Raffauf and Jay Rowe for entertainment. And we thank everyone who contributed items for auction and raffle.
